This particular expression of the “Westminster” is constructed with steel & cast iron & finished in a black chrome powder coat. It is accented with polished chrome collars, cradles & buttons, created by skilled artisans. Each post is adorned with a genuine, Rainbow Moonstone finial*. Bella luna!!!

Our beds come complete with headboard, footboard, & frame (this includes the side rails, slats & center T-bar*), all in a coordinating finish. True to the original, the side rails are dovetailed. The remainder of the frame has been uniquely engineered for additional sturdiness & strength.

Rainbow Moonstone is whitish, gray-white, silvery-white, or milky white often mixed with black tourmaline. It has a soft blue shimmer that moves across its face as the stone is moved. This blue moving light is called adularescence, a magical shimmer actually caused by tiny albite inclusions that reflect and scatter light. It mimicks the moon's glow, hence the gem's name.
